Hi, I’m Ulrich.
I build Umbraco solutions that hold up in code, in day-to-day use, and in business.
I’ve worked with web since 1997, with Umbraco since 2007, and as a freelancer since 2010. So yes, I’ve been around long enough to see trends come and go, and long enough to know the difference between something that looks great in a meeting room and something that actually works in the real world.
That experience goes into every solution I build. Not just websites that look good at launch, but solutions that are also easy to edit, maintain, and grow over time.
For me, good web work is not about making things more complex than they need to be. Quite the opposite. It is about creating clarity, quality, and solutions that feel thoroughly thought through from start to finish. Without buzzword bingo. Unless, of course, you specifically ask for it.

A content-heavy platform with requirements for stable operation, high speed, and a solution that can keep up with many users and a large volume of content.

A foundation working to create better conditions for children with cancer and their families. Focused on campaigns, visibility, and a strong platform to support the organisation’s work and communication.
Hannibal Rejser
A travel agency specialising in tailor-made journeys to destinations around the world. A user-friendly website focused on inspiration, clarity, and a smoother path from initial interest to enquiry.
DPH Trading
An online shop and retail store selling new, retro, antique, and second-hand homeware. A business site with 15,000+ products in multiple languages, built on a technical foundation that supports product presentation, scalability, and day-to-day maintenance.
Nilfisk
Nilfisk develops and sells cleaning equipment for both professional use and home and garden cleaning. An enterprise-oriented solution focused on structure, performance, and content that needs to work across markets and different needs.

From Code to Concert Vibes
When I put Umbraco, architecture, and development aside for a while, I pick up the guitar and hit the stage with Kort Varsel (danish for "short notice").
This is where it is all about the joy of playing, pure energy, and that wonderful feeling when everything lifts. When the chemistry clicks, the rhythm is spot on, and the atmosphere really takes off. It is festive, alive, and exactly as uplifting as music should be.
And honestly, it is not that far from my work as it may sound. I love it when things come together, when the details are sharp, and when the whole thing rises above the sum of its parts. One day in code. The next with a guitar in my hands and 1,000 new friends.
